Purifying Black Mud Cleanser

Purifying Black Mud Cleanser

Not quite a gel and not quite a milk face wash, this cleanser takes the best from both worlds to balance problem skin. The Purifying Black Mud Cleanser will deep clean acne-prone skin of dirt, pore buildup + impurities without being drying or stripping. Because most acne is inflamed, this cleanser contains anti-inflammatory ingredients of aloe, oat and turmeric oil.

Active ingredients of black mud and turmeric target acne specifically as the former disinfects and remineralizes while the latter soothes and also acts as an antimicrobial.

FEATURED INGREDIENTS
Black Mud Turmeric Oil
Also known as dead sea mud, this ingredient contains a plethora of trace minerals. These minerals give black mud a whole host of therapeutic properties from being anti-inflammatory and antioxidants to having natural antimicrobial effects. This makes it a powerful weapon against acne as it soothes, heals and purifies. Turmeric is an Ayurvedic rasayana: a group of ingredients singled out for their regenerating, rejuvenating properties. Currently, curcumin – the active constituent within this root – is a nutriceutical darling, prized for its awesome antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Aloe Oat Cleansing Agent
Aloe has long since been used as a soothing agent for burns, hives and inflammatory lesions. Organic aloe juice is used in this product as a base to flood the formula with skin calming action, helping to temper angry breakouts. Unlike face washes that use SLS as a detergent, this cleanser uses a gentle cleansing agent derived form oat. Oat is a wonderful anti-inflammatory ingredient, making this face wash excellent for even uber sensitive and irritated complexions.
Scent and Feel

The texture of the cleanser is between a gel and a milk and will not foam or soap. The scent is clean and citrusy as it contains lemongrass essential oil.
