* Seasonally Limited: Holistic Vanity’s Repairing Rosehip Skin Tonic is a healing plant concentrate that is produced with great care. The rosehips are steam distilled in copper metal equipment because copper has natural anti-bacterial properties. This kills yeast and fungus, purifying the rosehip and bringing out its sweet note. The skin tonic is harvested sustainably in small batches. Because we strive to maintain the best quality of our ingredients, it is only harvested once per year at the height of the season, making it only available seasonally.

Rosehip Hydrosol
Rosehip water (rosehip hydrosol) is extremely potent and completely undiluted. It is made by extracting the plant juices from the fruit (hips) of organic roses, creating a PH balancing skin toner. Rosehip itself is known for its power to rejuvenate the skin and repair scars, burns and pigmented spots. It contains high amounts of vitamin c.
Scent and Feel

This tonic has a liquid-feel and floral scent, which is garden-like and clean-smelling.

    Hi there,
I was curious how this tonic is compared to using Rosehip Oil in my moisturizing oil blend. I’ve been using a combination of Hemp Oil with Holistic Vanity’s Argan oil as my face moisturizer and have considered adding in Rosehip Oil and Carrot Seed Oil to the mix. Is it preferable to use a rosehip tonic instead of the oil? Do each have its own benefits? Would it be ‘too much of a good thing’ if I used this tonic as well as adding the oil to my facial mixture?
Any comments would be much appreciated!

Wendy, the rosehip oil has similar benefits as the tonic, but in different forms. They’re both repairing and good for skin marks, but the tonic is hydrating while the oil is protective. You can definitely use both. The oil can be a bit stimulating so I find the tonic better for acne-prone skins. Does this help?

    Hi Kristen,
Thanks so much for your comments; they are very hepful! I have some slight hormonal acne in and around my chin and lower cheek area so will start with the tonic to see how things go.
    Best regards,

The rosehip tonic will be good for the scne scarring – but to combat breakouts and soothe pimple inflammation, The healing Immortelle Skin Tonic is better. We’ve had great feedback from acne-prone clients on it.
