Stand-Out Ingredients

Kendi oil 

An Indonesian plant oil loaded with omega 3 fatty acids.  Also known as Kukui, this cold-pressed oil absorbs easily and serves as a wonderful protective.

Cucumber

Cucumber is used in the base of this uber calming serum.  A natural soother for the most agro complexions, it also adds a super-hydrating charge.  Along with decreasing irritation and inflammation, cucumber fruit fluid can also help swelling and puffiness; one reason why this serum makes good aftercare to many intensive medi-spa treatments.

C. Saitoana

A fermented extract that strengthens by stimulating the cellular detoxification process. Boosting tired skin through autophagy, candida saitoana helps optimize skin cell health and functioning.

Chondrus crispus

Remineralize and nourish depleted complexions with this special algae.  This active ingredient also helps dehydrated skin types hold moisture and reduce water loss.

Summer love

This serum is so perfect for my summer heat sensitive skin. The cucumber base delivers the key ingredients perfectly. It feels rich but settles in nicely to create a lovely base for my other layers of protection. So glad I found this treat for the heat.

Incredibly hydrating and love the texture

Wow! I am a very loyal fan to Pure and Simple’s algae serum but this one has so many great reviews that I had to try it. This is my new holy grail serum! It instantly soothes and hydrates. The texture is so smooth and luxurious and absorbs to give your skin a dewy finish. Amazing product and I would highly recommend it.

Disappointing

I have only been using this for about 1-2 weeks, twice daily. I follow serum application with moisturizer but usually I find serums hydrating on their own - not this one, it almost makes my skin feel drier. It has not done anything noticeable to help my redness. Disappointing.

I love this serum, I have rosacea and I notice if I use this serum consistently (along with camellia oil) it makes a huge difference in the redness. I love it!!
