Nigella oil has been used for centuries to kill bacteria and maintain hygiene. Used in Ayurvedic + Chinese Medicine and in Ancient Greek + Egyptian healing, this oil was considered so beautifying that it is said to have been used by Cleopatra and its seeds were even found in the tomb of Tutankhamun.

However, in its pure form it can be too intense for ultra-sensitive skin. So, we combined it with the equally precious Babassu oil, making it safe for all skin types. Babassu oil is a skin-soothing, light-textured oil that can balances oily complexions. This oil helps regulate sebum-production and kill acne microbes.

I bought this on the recommedation of the esthetician who gave me my facial to accompany the black mud & cumin lotion. This oil is perfect for acne prone skin. I have acne prone skin and this oil is amazing at keeping it calm and hydrated. After about a week I noticed much less irritation and redness. I use it to supplement my moisturizer. You only need a few drops, so the price is excellent for the usage you will get out of the 100ml bottle.
